Seeing them train so hard really reminds me of the days in 2007 and 2008 where we trained so hard as well. Word of encouragement can only bring you thus far, its really up to you guys to show them what you have got.
Bruised and battered. Yes, its very painful. But bear in mind, the pain is temporary but the glory will be yours forever.
The time of the year is will be approaching soon. However, there will be a slight twist this year.
A new association by the name of Federation of Cheerleading Singapore is organising the 1st Singapore Cheerleading and Cheering Championships on the 21st March 2010. On the other hand, Cheerleading Association Singapore(CAS) will be holding the annual Cheerobics on 20 March 2010. A snapshot of the details since I have a little bit of time in office :
Do correct me if there are any wrong information. (CAA 4 Feb 2010).
So far I only have personal query that is : What is Varsity Singapore? (I googled it, cant really find any info. Can somebody enlighten me?
It will be pretty interesting this year, having 2 days of competition(pretty much like IFC style where the competition is held over 2 days) but different organisers.
Its good to end 2009 with a bang. Clinching 3rd position at the World's and having the special someone celebrating it with me. I am pretty lazy to blog about Bremen, but my other half did a splendid write-up here
Yes, I didn't meet my goals set earlier this year, in fact by quite a far margin. But this year has been very fruitful and meaningful. Recap:
1) Cheerobics 2009 2) Fishing trip to spratlys 3) Holiday/Training trip to Taiwan 4) CWC'09 at Bremen Germany and for memories sake, presenting to you: Team Singapore CWC'09 Bremen Germany.
I am so looking forward to 2010, with many more good things which lie ahead. I have lots more to learn, the learning journey is never complete be it in cheer, work or personal life. But I am determined to make it all work, whatever it takes. I will not allow anything to deter me from what I want.
Lets bid farewell to a eventful 2009, and welcome 2010 with open arms.
Its been a while. My body seems to tell me its high time i put a full stop to my cheerlead career. Or at least till I regain full functionality of my knees. I cannot afford to injure myself and put my job at risk.
